Steve-O, born Stephen Gilchrist Glover, is an English-born actor, stunt performer, producer, author, stand-up comedian, clown, and singer of Canadian and English–American descent. He is best known for performing stunts in the controversial American series ‘Jackass.’ He grew up as a kid highly interested in the entertainment industry. He attended the ‘University of Miami’ later. However, he had no interest in academics. He joined the ‘Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College,’ graduating in 1997. Immediately after that, he started working as a circus clown, filming his stunts and performances. In 2000, he was offered a role in the MTV series ‘Jackass,’ which became extremely popular. He thus became a household name and later appeared in several films, such as ‘Jackass: The Movie’ and ‘Barely Lethal.’ He also appeared on TV, with shows such as ‘Totally Busted’ and ‘The Jump.’ He is a multi-talented personality who also organizes his own stand-up comedy tours. He has also written an autobiography. He has been in trouble with the law several times, particularly when he was arrested for possession of cocaine in 2008. He has been suicidal, which later led to an intense drug-abuse issue.
